BASIL FLATBREAD PIZZA
Serves : 1 large or 2 smaller flatbreads
Ingredients:
- 1 package (7 grams) quick-rise yeast
- 160 ml warm water (43-46°C)
- 80 ml olive oil
- 15g sugar
- 2.5g salt
- 210-280g all-purpose flour
- 240 ml tomato sauce
- 115g grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 ball of mozzarella cheese
- 5-6 cherry tomatoes
- Fresh basil leaves
- Terramezzo Premium Basil Salt
Instructions :
Preheat the oven to 230°C
In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add oil, sugar, salt, and 120 grams of flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour to form a soft dough (the dough will be sticky).
Turn the dough onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease the top. Cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Shape the dough into a 30x25 cm rectangle on a greased baking pan or parchment paper.
Top with tomato sauce, grated Parmesan, and sliced mozzarella cheese. Arrange cherry tomatoes on top.
Bake until golden brown, for about 15-20 minutes.
Let it stand for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh basil leaves and sprinkle with Terramezzo Premium Basil Salt for enhanced flavor.
